Biography
I am a self taught contemporary and fine art nature and wildlife photographer based in South Africa but have become most notably recognised for my landscape, lightning and storm photography. My work has received many local and international accolades and my images have appeared in books and publications of all sorts. I live and love photography. What started out several years ago as a hobby turned quickly into a profession. Photography has taken me to many wonderful destinations around Africa and Internationally and I enjoy sharing my views of the world, the way I see things.
Photography allows me to capture unique moments in time and to share them with the world. I’m seldom far from a camera and always find something incredible to photograph no matter where I may be. Life is full of magical moments but you just need to have your eyes open to see them. Photography above the many other things I have done in my life has opened my eyes to really see the world and sharing these visions is a true privelege.
I am self represented as far as fine art prints and stock/editorial imaging goes, I find there is no better way to make sure that a client get’s what they deserve. If you have a question or enquiry regarding any prints or editorial usage of my images please click on the contact button above and I will get back to you as soon as humanly possible. I undertake commissioned and commercial projects and would love to hear from you to discuss your needs.
On the blog I will delve into some of my trips, show you new images captured on my travels and take you behind the scenes of my images and how they transpired. My images have appeared in all coners of the internet for many years now and for some time I’ve been wanting to get around to setting this site up. Finally I found the time and now have a central point for all my article and images. This web site will become the central point for new image and print releases after which they will feed into other channels.
I hope you will enjoy the many images and experiences of my travels that I have to share with you. I suggest you subscribe to the RSS feed to get immediate notification of new articles, images, print releases and blog posts in your favourite newsreader.
