I came across this image this morning in my catalogues from my trips to the Maasai Mara in Kenya. This image of this male lion stood in a half processed state and has been this way for some months now so I decided to finish processing it to put out on my blog and in my image galleries and print ordering system.

I am quite pleased with how the processing turned out and feel it has a place in my galleries now. I hope you enjoy it too.

This Wildlife Photo Photo “Male Lion – Maasai Mara”, is available in print on a variety of Hahnemule Fine Art Papers, Epson Premium Papers and Canvas.

I captured this elephant landscape one afternoon at Amboseli National Park in Kenya. This group of elephants were starting to head off for the night but for a moment paused in the grasslands with Mount Kilimanjaro forming a nice background behind them.

This elephant landscape at Amboseli is available in print on a variety of Hahnemule Fine Art Papers, Epson Premium Papers and Canvas.

Bearded Vulture in Monochrome | Giants Castle

I took this one on a trip to Giants Castle about 2 years ago, this juvenile Bearded Vulture pulled off a few very artistic poses while taking off and landing and this one really stood out for me.

I dug this one out recently for a client looking for something different for a book cover for their Bird Identification course book. They loved it and I hope you like it too. ;)

Gorilla Portrait in Mono | Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Photography

Gorilla Portrait in MonochromeClick on image for larger view (Copyright Mitchell Krog - Eqnuiries: image@mitchellkrog.com - REF: RWS6816)

Here’s one of my Gorilla images from my trip to Rwanda which I got around to processing this morning. This is just one of these gentle giants that I had the privilege of spending some time with and this portrait just warms my heart and brings back very fond memories. This gorilla is a member of the Sabyinyo family which was the first group I spent a precious (very short) hour with.

Like many people I love color but this image just had the right tones for a monochrome conversion and I think it turned out great.

Hope you like it too, Enjoy ;)
